Of primary concern, is the safety of site staff and the general public. We are proud of our H&S record, and of the safety culture engendered in our staff
Health & Safety
Safety in all our activities ranks equally with our other principal business objectives and Turnpower is committed to maintaining an environment that ensures ‘front line focus’ on all safety issues. All our work practices meet the stringent requirements of the Turnpower Health & Safety Policy and conform to current legislation.
Turnpower is proud of its Health & Safety record and of the safety culture engendered throughout the organisation. It is Company Policy to provide first class working conditions for all staff, and to develop working practices that maintain a safe, clean, operational environment for our clients, their customers and the general public.
Turnpower have been working to our environmental policy for over 2 decades. We are proudly approved by the Environmental Agency as an accredited waste removal specialist
Waste Management & The Environment
Despite mounting social and commercial pressure to embrace the ‘Green Culture’ and reduce carbon emissions, many organisations are still only paying ‘lip service’ to the concept. It has been estimated that less than 50% of UK companies have an Environmental Policy in place and of those, a significant proportion only have the Policy document in place, and have made little or no progress in actively reducing their footprint.
Waste management may not be at the top of everyone’s agenda, but from a cost perspective, it’s an increasingly important one.
