Service Administrator

Turnpower Services are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Service Administrator to join our team. The primary purpose of this role is to support the Service/Maintenance Departments with a wide range of administrative duties. This position is ideal for someone who is eager to learn, develop their skills, and grow within a successful, stable, and friendly company. The role is varied, with opportunities for progression and development over time. You will report directly to the Service/Maintenance Managers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls from engineers and clients in a professional manner
  • Confirm engineer visits with clients and communicate any changes to schedules
  • Organise and manage permits, ensuring accuracy for site access and completion of work
  • Allocate jobs to engineers, ensuring correct timing, job descriptions are accurate
  • Ensure appropriate allocation of engineers and hours based on job requirements
  • Chasing parts that have been ordered and ensuring timely allocation
  • Keep permit records and spreadsheets accurate and up to date for access compliance
  • Preparing quotes and sending to client via Simpro System or Portals

Skills & Experience

  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Office 365
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritise workload and use initiative
  • Previous office-based experience is essential
